Coram Ambitious for Adoption is a commissioned voluntary regional adoption agency that is organised on a hub and bespoke service model. The activities of adopter recruitment and assessment of prospective adopters, the panel, child placement support and the overall governance of the regional adoption agency is located at the hub at Coram Campus in Bloomsbury in London.

The Regional Agency is comprised of Coram as the Voluntary Adoption Agency service provider working alongside participating authorities London Boroughs of Harrow, Redbridge, Bromley, Hillingdon, City of London and Waltham Forest. The service is resolutely focussed on best outcomes for children, wrap around preparation and support for adoptive families and practice that is inclusive through coproduction and innovative approaches.

This is a new and exciting management post located in Bromley to oversee the family finding and post adoption support function operating within the new regional adoption agency services framework.

About the role

As the Service Manager for Bromley, you will hold responsibility for the delivery of safe and effective services for children in adoption, in line with the relevant legislation, regulation, policy, research and good practice frameworks and also participate actively in the vision and mission of the regional adoption agency in accordance with the commissioned services and specifications and quality standards of the service

You will also promote and develop close and effective relationships within and across relevant local authorities and hold responsibility for the quality assurance of practice and services.
