£21,589 Per Annum - Full Time Equivalent
NJC Salary Scale Point 12 (April 2019)

CPSL Mind is a progressive and expanding mental health charity, working across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire.

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and passionate Perinatal Project Workers to join our team. You will be delivering an exciting new Perinatal mental health service, which is being specifically designed for Muslim women during pregnancy and new motherhood.

We know that women from Muslim communities are disproportionately less likely to access community perinatal mental health services. For this reason, we are seeking to re-design our highly successful ‘Connecting Mums’, peer support and one to one perinatal services so that they meet the specific needs of the Muslim community, both practically and culturally.

The successful post holder will have experience in working with people on a one to one basis and/or in a group setting, excellent group facilitation skills and an in-depth knowledge of Islamic practices and traditions. You should be passionate about promoting positive mental health, have excellent verbal communication skills and have an understanding of how perinatal mental health issues can affect Muslim women and their families.

This post requires a female applicant from the Muslim community and is therefore exempt under section 158 of the Equality Act 2010.

Closing date: Monday 15th March 2021 10am
Interviews: Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th March 2021

Please read the person specification and job description for details and relate to the person specification in your application.

We will only accept complete applications, which should include: Application Form, Covering Letter and your completed Equality & Diversity Monitoring form.
