Sanctuary Co-ordinator – 1 x peripatetic
35 hours per week
Cambridge and Peterborough (peripatetic)
Shift basis to include some evenings and weekend work
Actual starting salary: £27,605 p.a. for 35 hours
NJC 2020 Salary Scale Point 25 - £29,577 p.a. FTE
Background to the role
The Sanctuary provides a safe place for individuals experiencing an emotional or mental health crisis. It offers practical and emotional support in a warm, welcoming and friendly environment. It is open seven days a week from 6pm to 1am.
About the role
The ideal candidate will support and assist the Sanctuary Manager in the running and operational duties of The Sanctuary. This role will require someone who is able to work in the daytime and evenings over a variable shift pattern. The role will focus on day-to-day operational running of The Sanctuary along with some Crisis Recovery work with visitors. The Sanctuary are looking for someone who is forward thinking about mental health and is keen to make a difference to those that are in a crisis. The role is suited to someone that enjoys working with a wide range of people and is keen to empower and support others. As this role will be varied, the ideal candidate would have a flexible approach to working hours and duties, and will also be a keen team player.
The role will be on a shift pattern of days and evening work. The evening work is 6pm – 1am, during the week or some weekends on a shift basis, with occasional travel across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
These roles form part of the award-winning work implemented by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Crisis Care Concordat and the Urgent & Emergency Care Vanguard Project.
