BR2, Bromley
£21,000 - £23,000 per year
Permanent, Full-time
Job description

We are a nationwide charity providing support and care to older people in the vibrant Borough of Bromley. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has the ability to develop and coordinate a stimulating and relevant range of activities for our clients across three extra care services located in Bromley Common, Penge and Orpington. You will be developing activities in a collaborative manner ensuring that they meet clients’ goals, improve their wellbeing and enhance social inclusion.

You must be a proactive and creative person with the ability to build links with the local community and access resources and new opportunities. A genuine interest in working with older adults at risk is essential, as is a commitment to diversity.

You will be well organised and efficient with excellent communication and IT skills (especially Word/Excel/Publisher). You will be approachable with a warm and effervescent manner. You must enjoy working in a team environment as well as be able to work alone using your own initiative.

In return for your commitment we can offer you interesting and varied work and you will enjoy visible and supportive management from our team.

You will be based in our services in Bromley and will be expected to travel between them as required. A driver is preferred, however all our services are easily reached by public transport. Some other travel within our wider London services may also be needed. Working hours will be generally within the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday; however, there will be some work on evenings and weekends, so flexibility will be required. Given that this is a client facing role, working from home will not be an option.
