Job description

We are a large national charity with our Head Office based in Stockport, looking for an experienced Management Accountant to work in our fast paced and friendly Accounts Team. You will be working closely with other team members and across the wider Head Office departments to produce detailed reconciliations of Balance Sheet control accounts, with responsibility for resolution of all reconciliation items, including payroll reconciliations and fixed asset reviews.  You will also have the opportunity to implement improvements in systems and processes within our reconciliation and financial reporting work streams. You will be exceptionally proficient in MS Excel, with excellent written/verbal communication skills.

We are able to offer the role on either a full-time or part-time basis, to be agreed with the successful candidate.

Interviews will be held on Monday 4th October 2021.

Our range of employee benefits includes:

• A Birthday Holiday Bonus after 2 years continuous service

• A range of employee discounts

• Free life assurance

• Pension with company contribution

This is a real opportunity to make an impact and improve the performance of the charity. You will be offered on the job/external training and career development opportunities.
