Job description

We are currently looking for a dynamic and well organised Project Manager to lead the coordination and management of our supported living service in Lunedale, Billingham. This service provides support to 5 people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex needs. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall delivery and management of the service.

 

Project Manager duties and responsibilities:

  • Supervision, coaching, performance management and support of staff, volunteers and students on placement,
  • Ensuring there are clear goals and expected outcomes for each service user with a defined path to enable each individual to reach their goals,
  • Working closely with families and advocates and health professionals/agencies,
  • You will have the knowledge and skills to ensure the safe management and administration of medicines,
  • You will develop Positive Behaviour support plans,
  • Maintaining high standards of environmental safety/quality and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

The service is located in Billingham and is easily accessible by bus routes to the wider area and a train station one mile from the service.

You will have relevant experience of supervising/managing staff and significant experience of supporting people with learning disabilities, including individuals with autism and complex needs. A good understanding of the Positive Behavioural Support is also required for this position. A relevant health or social care qualification (such as RMN/DipSW, degree or NVQ Level 4/5 or working towards) is essential.
