Job description

The Women’s Support Centre (WSC) was established in 2008 by Women in Prison (WIP) with the support of Woking Local Authority. The WSC is based in Woking but provides support to women throughout Surrey who are in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with the criminal justice system. High quality, innovative services are delivered including 1:1 support and advocacy, group work, counselling, specialist substance misuse, domestic abuse and child sexual exploitation services. The WSC works in partnership with a number of agencies including all Surrey local authorities, the Police, the National Health Service and the National Probation Service.

We’re looking for an experienced manager, to lead on strategic oversight and operational management of the WSC, ensuring high quality, trauma responsive services are delivered to women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with, the criminal justice system. This is an exciting time to join the team as the WSC have been nominated as the Woking Mayor’s Charity of the Year 2019/20.
