About the role:
This role is based in London with hybrid working options. As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
You will need:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.
- Have excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.

About the roles:
These roles offer flexibility for home and office working with travel to appointments to meet clients across London is required. Office locations are Islington & Earl's Court.
As a Triage Caseworker you will cover shifts on a rota basis Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm. You will make initial contact with clients explaining Victim Supports services & completing initial needs & risks assessment, and were required making ongoing referrals. You will need experience of delivering a telephone work and processing service with clients in a similar setting along with knowledge around safeguarding issues and legislation.
You will need to be able to manage a demanding workload and to meet a range of conflicting deadlines.

About the role:
Your role as a TEIO will be to answer and speak to incoming callers as well as to hold a caseload and make outgoing calls to those affected by crime. You will be the primary contact for the Hub across Humberside and will be the face of the service.
As a TEIO, you will;
- answer incoming calls, speak to those affected by crime and hold a caseload
- make outgoing calls, assess needs and risks and action plan with callers
- work on the case management system to allocate cases, provide administration on cases and assess/ensure data quality
- liaise with other agencies where required to find out more information, give information or make referrals or give signposting information
- work with the wider team to ensure an effective, trauma informed service is given to those affected by crime
You will be a confident, compassionate and empathic person who can work well under pressure. You will be speaking to people who may be upset, angry or in emotional difficulties and will need to be composed, empathic and be able to quickly assess situations.
You will be confident in using your IT skills to work on a case management system, access phone and online systems, email and Microsoft Office programmes.

About the role:
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who will promote and increase engagement with the Humberside ABC Service. The Humberside ABC service will provide services to anyone affected by crime and as an Engagement Officer you will work alongside our team to enhance the offer we provide by managing volunteers, promoting the service and working with our partners including the police.
As an Engagement Officer you will be responsible for:
- Recruiting and managing a diverse team of volunteers including Criminal Justice Champions (CJCs)
- Promoting the work of the service through events and presentations
- Providing training and awareness sessions to partner agencies including Humberside Police
- Maintaining and developing our online presence including updating website information and controlling our social media accounts
- Income generation and identifying fundraising opportunities
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is motivated, engaging and innovative. You will play an integral part in developing and embedding our Criminal Justice Champion (CJC) and Victim Friendly Organisation (VFO) programmes across Humberside to ensure that victims have a voice within the criminal justice system and organisations are promoting victim's rights and voices.
You will attend events, network with other agencies and develop and deliver presentations to both internal and external colleagues, community groups and other identified audiences. This means that although the role is home-based, regular travel is required within Humberside and occasionally across the wider region.

One-to-one support is core to the service including building trust and undertaking and interventions that meet the needs of each individual. You will also deliver group sessions and workshops to support the development of skills and strategies such as communication, resilience, negotiation and assertiveness skills; confident and activities responsible parenting behaviours and positive coping strategies. You will be responsible for working towards service delivery targets and providing information to evidence outcomes achieved. Working with other professionals in partnership delivery will also be key.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will ideally be knowledgeable of the criminal justice system and have an awareness of the impact of custody on prisoners and on their children and families. You will lead and deliver a service that ensures prisoners, their children, carers and other relatives have access to appropriate advice, guidance, learning opportunities, care and support to better enable them to maintain or enhance positive relationships
In addition, you will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and work in a challenging environment whilst remaining calm. Furthermore, you will act as a role model for volunteers and an ambassador for Pact, conducting yourself professionally at all times, with high standards of personal integrity and accountability. Furthermore, you will have the skills to advocate for families dealing with imprisonment, promoting their human rights and ensuring their needs are considered, and views are heard at all levels.

About the Role:
This role is based in Bedfordshire with consideration given to hybrid working. As an Independent Stalking Advocate you will be:
- providing a high quality support & advocacy service to victims of stalking
- working closely with our current Domestic Abuse Stalking Advocate, providing cover for this role as required
- managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support
- working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe
- working within a multi-agency framework consisting of voluntary and statutory partners to build local partnerships, in order to offer a coordinated response to stalking
- promoting the service and raise awareness of stalking through regular training of local partners.
You will need:
- Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of stalking would be advantageous
- To be able to prioritise work & deal with competing demands
- Ideally you will hold a ISAC or SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with victims of stalking and/or domestic abuse
- A driving license and access to a car, as this role covers the whole of the county
