About us

Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

 

Crisis has grown significantly in recent years and has an ambitious five-year strategy, now in its second year. Our donors share our passion for ending homelessness, and we want to give them the best possible experience of being part of Crisis.

 

About the role

In this role you will use all available tools to create outstanding donor journeys. We have invested in insight that has allowed us to understand more about our donors (their needs and motivations), and their expectations of Crisis. Your challenge is to help us not only meet those expectations, but to exceed them.

 

Initially, you will work closely with our Individual Supporters team and our creative partners to embed that insight into the planning, delivery and analysis of donor communications. You will lead on test-and-learn activity, helping us to continually improve our interactions with donors across all touchpoints.

 

In the longer term, you will play an important role as we develop journeys across Fundraising by making use of the opportunities that innovations in data, insight and technology allow.

 

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

 

  • Be knowledgeable in traditional direct marketing approaches across multiple channels

  • Be experienced in producing audience-facing communications

  • Have experience of using insight to evaluate and innovate customer experiences

  • Be passionate about stewardship and delivering outstanding customer experiences

  • Have Experience of working with creative agencies and other internal/external partners
