About us

Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

The Crisis Data and Technology team is embarking on a multi-year program of modernisation of our Skylights (day centres for the homeless) including the development of “MAPS” – the Crisis case management system built on Dynamics 365. Going forward this platform will evolve to support “Crisis and Christmas” (the UK’s biggest volunteering event) as well as supporting the growing portfolio of services Crisis offers for the homeless.

About the role

As the only Dynamics 365 Developer/Analyst, you will primarily act as Crisis technical lead to configure/develop our Dynamics 365 estate over time. Working behind user facing staff in client services your job is to help turn user stories into released functionality. Working within an established development framework to a quarterly release schedule you will help specify, configure, develop and test all changes to Crisis Dynamics 365 estate before pushing through into productive environment.

The role will advise Crisis on other business systems that may leverage the Dynamics 365 cloud and work closely with the data engineering team in respect of the Common Data Service.

As part of the wider Data and Technology team you will act as a 3rd line resolver behind the Helpdesk and support the development of training materials for end users.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent Dynamics 365 skills, able to work closely with our Microsoft Gold Partner and work within a semi-agile development framework. Ideally certified (or working towards) Microsoft PowerApps and Dynamics 365 level of competency you will be seen as our go to product expert in the Dynamics 365 and Common Data Service space.

Your expertise is in the Microsoft world of Dynamics 365 and Power Apps. No level of expertise is too high for this role but if you don’t (for example) yet develop in PowerApps then you can learn this at Crisis with support from our Microsoft 3rd parties. Either way you will have passion and strong product knowledge across business systems tooling associated with Dynamics 365 and beyond.
