The Partnerships and Philanthropy (P&P) team are embarking on a new fundraising strategy, with ambitious targets and exciting initiatives planned to help achieve them. The Fundraising Development Team has recently been created to enable this progress, by providing the P&P team with strong cases for support, high quality events, exciting communications and a programme of diverse volunteering opportunities.
About the role
As a Fundraising Development Officer, you will support the newly established Fundraising Development Team in all operational aspects of high-value fundraising. Working in a team of three, you will create quality digital and print communications, help write reports and proposals for prospective funders, organise and deliver special events, keep our databases and websites up to date, coordinate volunteering for our corporate supporters and philanthropists, and work with our member ambassadors on projects. This role is essential for us to achieve our significant financial targets, which will help Crisis in its overall work to end homelessness.
This role is very varied and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their knowledge of the fundraising sector and work on ground-breaking projects and partnerships.
This is a permanent role, reporting to the Fundraising Development Manager.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven experience in fundraising sector, ideally with corporate partners and/or philanthropists
Strong administrative skills
Demonstrable experience of supporting a busy team with immovable deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
