About the role
Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.
This is an exciting time to be at Crisis – our Plan to End Homelessness and new 5-year strategy has opened up exciting ways to engage with the private sector, and in this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team develop and manage major partnerships that will help end homelessness. You will provide vital support in delivering events, producing proposals, pitch presentations and impact reports, and will work with account managers to ensure that employees at our partners have all the tools and information they need to carry out fundraising activities. As well as providing administrative support, you will be working on one of the main fundraising databases, and will gain experience of working on accounts for companies like JLL, GSK, Cisco, Coca Cola and many more
To be successful in this role you will have strong organisation skills and a methodical approach to tasks, along with excellent communications skills. You will be adept at juggling multiple projects at the same time and will offer support to Account Managers in delivering major partnerships, as well as supporting our new business function. You will have good numeracy skills and attention to detail, with an understanding of financial processes. You will ideally have experience of working on a fundraising database. You will be able to work on your own initiative, but also as part of a closely coordinated team, and you will be driven by a commitment to Crisis’s values and ending homelessness
