Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.
We launched the Venture Studio in 2020 with a mission to accelerate the end of homelessness through entrepreneurship. In that time, we’ve become award-winning, have invested in, and supported numerous businesses, and we’re just getting started. There are more people facing homelessness than ever and we’re excited about the role businesses, and innovative founders can play in tackling this challenge.
Title: Programme Manager
Salary: £42,579 per annum
Contract: Two Year Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 35 Hours per week
Location: London based, working from home is an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working policy, with at least one day per week in our London office and some nationwide travel for meetings and events.
About the role
As Programme Manager you will be responsible for creating and delivering a best-in-class programme to support our growing portfolio of investments into businesses working to end homelessness. You will be their key point of contact, identifying each start-up’s needs and develop a valuable 12-month programme to support them. You will also be responsible for how the programmes is communicated through digital and public channels, ensuring we attract the best entrepreneurial talent in the UK.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have developed and managed successful programmes in the past, ideally for start-ups or high growth companies. You will be a self-starter who is excellent at building relationships with founders, and garnering support from internal and external partners to support their growth.
You may have experience in, entrepreneurship, impact investing, venture capital, housing, and homelessness.
