Crisis Skylight Brent, based in Harlesden, provides support to individuals affected by homelessness around housing, wellbeing, training, employment and volunteering, and support to progress towards leading independent lives.

 

About the role

Crisis is currently recruiting for a Progression & Housing Team Leader to join the team at Skylight Brent. The successful candidate will support the Progression Manager to manage a holistic IAG and coaching service to support people on their journey out of homelessness. The post holder will manage an aspirational team of Progression Coaches to support people affected by homelessness to make appropriate choices for future progression and housing. You will work closely with internal and external partners and agencies that will help address barriers and access relevant services. 

You will receive a full induction, ongoing training and regular supervision to support you in this role.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will have a strong background of client assessment and progression, risk management, preventing and relieving homelessness and advocacy.  You will have demonstrable experience of performance and data management and delivering IAG and coaching to a high standard. You will have a good record of managing and supporting staff and achieving organisational outcomes and progression of people with complex and multiple needs. Your approach needs to be flexible, psychologically informed and solution-focused to provide a supportive, safe and motivational environment to staff, volunteers and clients within.
