Job Description

About us  
Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.  

We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2019. This unique event relies upon a huge volunteer effort, with 15 centres across Britain offering homeless people food, clothing, advice and support with health, housing, employment and benefits. Last year, we had 3,000 guests attend our temporary centres in London which were run by over 10,000 volunteers.  

About the role  
As the Project Assistant – Community Donations, you will secure donations of food, clothing, and toiletries. You will be working with new and existing donors, answering questions over the phone, email, and face-to-face from members of the public and local community groups. This role is vital in sourcing all the items we need to run Crisis at Christmas. 

Knowledge/Skills and Experience:

About you  
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of customer service, strong communication skills, and good attention to detail.
