Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.


The Supporter Services team sits at the heart of Crisis and is the custodian of supporter care. Our role is to ensure that everyone who contacts Crisis receives a superb quality of service. We are at a pivotal moment in our mission to end homeless for good, and this is an exciting time to be joining our team.


About the role

As Supporter Services Executive, you will ensure that our regular givers, particularly those who give by Payroll Giving, receive an excellent standard of supporter care. This role will suit you as someone who has a good eye to detail, a good understanding of supporter care and charity fundraising, and an ability to quickly learn and use a range of technologies and software. Being a people person who loves to engage with people, this role will be right up your street!


About you

To be successful in this role you will:


  • Have significant experience using Raiser’s Edge or similar Databases/CRMs

  • Have excellent skills in communicating with supporters in a professional manner in challenging situations demonstrating a commitment to the highest standards of supporter care

  • Be able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a busy working environment

  • Be able to work independently as well as supporting colleagues in product development and enhancing supporter care

  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferably Office 365), particularly Excel, Outlook and Word and able to quickly learn and use other digital tools such as ftp sites.

  • Be aware of key Data Protection regulations and their impact on supporter care
