About us
Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

Shop from Crisis is expanding! We currently have 9 shops across London but we are looking to grow our business over the next five years, with a view to have 25+ shops in our portfolio, and need people with a vision and appetite to join our dynamic and motivated Retail team.

Location: London – working across multiple London stores, with the option of working from home in line with the Crisis’ homeworking policy.

About the role
As Area Manager, you will head up a team of shop managers to deliver financial excellence in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will nurture a creative shop environment, one where shop teams seek to maximise income in new and innovative ways both within the shop and through new entrepreneurial channels, such as ecommerce and fundraising events.

You will, as Area Manager, work with the Head of Retail and Retail Ops Manager with the launch new shops across London and beyond, and be heavily involved with the formation of new teams to run these shops.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in either charity or high street retail and the ability to lead and motivate a team of shop managers across multiple sites. We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable in their approach, and enjoys working in a dynamic and changing environment.

You may have experience in managing multiple sites in either charity or high street retail.
