Additionally, the successful applicant will be fully supported to work from home for the initial period where restrictions on non-essential travel are in place.

We’re building a new Venture Studio. The Venture Studio will provide an entry point to engage the start-up community, Crisis staff, Crisis’ members and supporters in ending homelessness through entrepreneurship. We will support start-ups to do more to end homelessness directly with our direct expertise and through our network of partners.
We already run a network of businesses including shops, cafes and furniture restoration. We are now looking to support start-ups in other sectors to help end homelessnes
About the role
This is an exciting new position in our ambitious and expanding Enterprise & Innovation department. We’re committed to finding more innovative solutions to ending homelessness.
You will be responsible for developing, growing and engaging Crisis’ Venture Studio community. This will include start-ups, partners of the Venture Studio, Crisis colleagues, Crisis members and volunteers. You’ll also be responsible for developing and implementing a programme of events for the Venture Studio. We’ll look to you to manage our internal and external communication channels including managing our LinkedIn page.
This role can be based at any of our 11 offices.
To be successful in this role you will be driven by our values (inspiration, integrity, dignity, fearlessness through independence, adaptability, resolve to end homelessness). You will have experience working within an entrepreneurial setting. You can build entrepreneurial communities offline and online. You will be experienced in organising and promoting events locally and nationally. And you can confidently use Twitter and LinkedIn and other channels. You will be seeking an exciting new challenge, working in a fast paced and agile team and you will be willing to support new initiatives from across the organisation.
