Crisis Skylight South Wales are a dynamic innovative team that go the extra mile to support people out of their homelessness for good. Our experienced team work closely to provide a wraparound service that is personally tailored to individual needs. Our innovative housing, education, employment and well-being services address individual needs and help people who are homeless transform their lives.

About the role
It’s a role requiring a creative approach as you will work to build and develop successful relationships with social and private landlords to maximise the supply of suitable and sustainable homes across Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot, for our members, enabling them to move towards ending their homelessness.
You will work collaboratively with the Skylight team to increase the supply of good quality homes for our members, to identify appropriate matches of tenants and properties and will ensure tenants receive the support they need to sustain their homes and that landlord relationships are nurtured. You will contribute to the delivery of our Rapid Rehousing work and our Critical Time Intervention pilot working with HMP Swansea supporting prison leavers into accommodation and preventing homelessness on release from custody.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have excellent understanding of the South Wales housing market. You will understand the needs of both social and private landlords and the barriers and opportunities faced by people moving out of homelessness and into housing. You will have outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to mediate between parties who may have different priorities and to broker agreements.
You’re known for your creative approach to solving problems and you have experience of sourcing, procuring, allocating homes and making tenancies work for tenants and landlords. The ability to develop, build and maintain key relationships is essential.
