Job description

The Role 

Crohn's & Colitis UK has an exciting opportunity for an Information & Publications Manager to lead our expanding Knowledge and Evidence team. The role is responsible for leading the development of our highly regarded information and resources to support and empower everyone affected by Crohn’s and Colitis. This includes our evidence-based online and printed publications, videos, podcasts and web content, research summaries and other information. 

Our office is located in Hatfield, Herts, however, due to the experience, we have gained whilst we have all been working from home during the coronavirus pandemic, we are also happy to consider applications from those seeking permanent working from home arrangements.

About You

You will have experience of translating complex medical and health information into engaging and accessible patient information as well as experience of working with patients and healthcare professionals to develop information resources in accordance with recognised standards.

You will be educated to degree level in a scientific discipline, or equivalent experience, and be confident in leading the production of digital and printed content. You'll be proficient in measuring the effectiveness of the promotion, dissemination and use of information. You will also have experience of managing and leading a team and have a calm, consistent and flexible approach to work and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
