Do you enjoy problem solving and working with data, and do you thrive on working in a busy but supportive environment? Would you like to be part of a highly ambitious and motivated Fundraising team? But most of all, do you feel passionately that everyone grieving should get the support they need? Then this could be the role for you!
Cruse Bereavement Care has been the UK’s leading bereavement charity for 62 years. Our mission is to offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies and to enhance societies care of bereaved people. This year we're undergoing exciting changes to expand and deepen our services.
The Fundraising and Income Generation team has gone from strength to strength since forming in 2019, increasing income by over 40% since then. On the back of this success, our ambitious strategy sets out to continue to grow and diversify income and maximise all opportunities. The role of Fundraising Operations Officer is essential for the delivery of our strategy and the well-being of bereaved people across the country – which has arguably never been more important than now.
This newly formed role will focus on key processes to support growth across the team, including processing and reconciliation of fundraised income and data management. Reporting to the Fundraising Operations Manager, you will work closely with colleagues in Finance and Fundraising and others across the organisation, using your detail-oriented approach and enthusiasm to deliver an excellent level of service to our supporters, customers and volunteers.
Location: Currently home-based. Flexible for office (Richmond-upon-Thames) or remote-working.
Please send your CV and a covering letter (no longer that two pages) outlining your suitability for the role and reasons for applying.
Applications received without a cover letter will not be considered.
Please note, only applicants being taken forward for interview will be contacted.
Interviews will take place in the week beginning 9th August 2021.
Cruse welcomes and encourages applications from everyone regardless of age, disability, gender, ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation.
