Job description

We are looking for a dynamic, organised and creative person to be part of Cruse’s Operations Team.    This person will have experience of project management and work in the voluntary sector, health and/or social care fields, and be able to motivate and support volunteers and staff.  This is a perfect opportunity to try something new, with a wider remit and scope for development

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting local Cruse services in Regions across South England, to deliver the best local support to bereaved people
  • Develop practice and managing change, focusing on key elements of Cruse’s strategic plan to reach more people and provide support when it is needed most
  • Contributing to income generation, focusing on statutory and voluntary sector commissioning, trust funds and increasing local donations

Cruse Bereavement Care is the largest bereavement charity in the UK, providing specialist website, telephone, email and face-to-face bereavement support for adults, children and young people.

Salary: £22,696 per annum plus OLW £1,281 if applicable

Hours: 24 hours per week

Cruse’s central office is in Richmond, Surrey.  The post holder will be based there.  However, we will consider applications from other parts of the country with a view to working flexibly.
