Service Manager (30hrs per week, fixed term for 6 Months with possibility of extension or other employment opportunities)
We are looking to recruit an experienced Service Manager to ensure high standards of quality are maintained during a period of restructuring within Cruse nationally.
You will have experience of management in the voluntary sector and of staff & volunteer supervision. Your role will encompass all aspects of service management including assessment of training needs, preparation of statistical reports for funders and oversight of budgets.
You must be prepared to work flexibly and provide some cover during mid-week evenings.
We can offer a welcoming environment within a small staff team, with a pool of skilled volunteers and lovely city centre premises.
Cruse Bereavement Care is the largest bereavement charity in the UK. Our mission is to offer support and advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies and enhance societies care of bereaved people.
As Cruse is currently undertaking a restructuring, the role will be an initial 6 month contract, with possibility of extension or further employment opportunities.
The closing date for this role is 6 April 2020 with interviews arranged for Thursday16th April 2020
