An exciting opportunity has arisen to develop and lead on the communications and campaigns strategies for a small group of organisations dedicated to responding to poverty, isolation and exclusion across Great Britain.
DC Services brings together several front-line charities which support local communities across London, Scotland and Manchester, providing a diverse range of services including: helping Roma women and families; providing long-term assistance to adults with learning disabilities; and supporting the families of prisoners. The common bond between these organisations is their shared values, based upon the life and works of St Vincent de Paul. DC Services functions as a central resource hub for this group of charities, providing assistance and support as required, and leading on shaping our own set of services.
The successful applicant will be responsible for shaping and implementing strategies encompassing both communications and campaigns for the group. Prior experience of leading national campaigns and developing extensive, tailored communications strategies is essential. We expect the successful candidate to be an outstanding communicator, and to possess significant experience of building successful, high-impact multi-stakeholder partnerships.
We employ people of all faiths and non, but it is essential that the post-holder be committed to learning about, acting in accordance with, and further promoting the Vincentian values which underpin all aspects of our work.
We offer: 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays); pension scheme; flexible working requests are welcome.
