Dementia UK has grown rapidly recently, with income doubling over the last three years, and the charity able to significantly expand its services and the number of people it supports.
The Marketing & Communications team has played a key part in this growth, and will be equally important in future years.
With Dementia UK soon to enter a new five-year strategy, we’re looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to help deliver the strategy, and shape our future brand, content, creative services, digital and media activity.
It’s a really important role. More and more families are being affected by dementia, and the need for our services has never been greater. The Head of Marketing & Communications will help create and foster a sustained climate of positive, informed awareness of Dementia UK and our dementia specialist Admiral Nurses, in order to deliver effective fundraising, influencing and service delivery.
We’re therefore looking for someone with substantial experience to lead the team and our activity; and in return we can offer support from across the organisation to help make the role a success.
