Grants & Trusts Fundraiser
Salary: up to £30,000 FTE depending on experience P/T – 22.5 hours
DENS are looking for an experienced Grants & Trusts Fundraiser with a demonstrable track record of working with Trusts & Foundations and a history of submitting successful Grants.
About the Role
To develop and manage a rolling programme of funding applications to Foundations, Trusts and Statutory Grantees, managing existing funders and identifying and securing new funding for both capital expenditure and general running costs across all services.
To proactively identify suitable projects, and develop bid documents, for funding applications and manage all post-grant reporting requirements.
To contribute to the development and implementation of fundraising initiatives, research, campaigns and events to support DENS Fundraising Strategy.
You have significant fundraising experience with an excellent track record in Trust and Foundation fundraising,
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to write and submit well-presented compelling cases for support to foundations and trusts, tailored to the funder and meeting all criteria and deadlines.
You have excellent attention to detail and high accuracy levels with an enquiring mind, interested in sourcing and assessing research statistics.
You have the ability to easily absorb complex information and present it in a logical, appropriate and clear manner.
