We have a new opportunity in our Safe Stop supported accommodation project in West Didsbury for an individual who seeks to touch young people’s lives positively working as a Night Progression Coach. 

This job is a full time, permanent role that comes with a mixture of working various shifts including bank holidays to ensure that residents have full staff support during their most difficult times. In return, you'll earn a competitive salary of £19,804 per annum plus pension and other benefits.

The Night Progression Coach Role: 

The ideal individual for this role is someone who can handle small caseload of 4-5 residents; addressing their physical, emotional, social and behavioural needs and helping them progress towards independence.

You will be responsible for supporting residents to move from hostel living to their own independent accommodation. You will deliver one-to one and group support opportunities within the accommodation and in the local community, aimed at increasing resilience in these residents.

  • Continuous support and supervision including reflective practice to develop your learning and skills as a practitioner.

What will ideally support your success in this Night Progression Coach role?

  • Experience of working with young people or those who have experienced homelessness.
  • A knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
  • Able to demonstrate clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures
  • Commitment to working in a manner, which promotes diversity and equality ensuring that everyone is treated with respect and dignity and no one, suffers from discrimination.
  • High level understanding of professional boundaries and ability to maintain boundaries
