Born out of the local Trade Union movement, DUWC is one of the most innovative campaigning advice centres in the country. We are looking for an assistant co-ordinator to transform the organisations social media presence, connect, recruit and organise training for volunteers as well as having responsibility for overseeing the administrative functions of the organisation.
The Assistant Co-ordinator will deputise for the Co-ordinator in his/her absence in the overall strategic management of the service.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of meeting the immediate requirements of the post in terms of proven skills, knowledge and experience. The Centre is looking to reach out under-represented groups in our organisation with austerity and the pandemic disproportionately affecting women and young people.
