An exceptional opportunity has arisen at one of the country's leading independent schools in London to join their Foundation Office as Development Manager with the role commencing in April 2017. The role can be either full year or term time only with varied salary as well as either full time or part time four days per week pro-rata'd.
Experience within an independent school is not a necessity for the role.
The successful applicant will be an experienced, ambitious fundraising professional ready to join the team as the school builds towards their biggest ever campaign. Current fundraising at the school is centred on bursary and scholarship generation. However, the successful candidate will play a central role in preparation and build up of the schools largest campaign to date.
The role will be based in the development office, which includes the Director of Development as well as two part-time Alumnae Officers.
A good degree of professional experience and a superb track record in fundraising (a realistic minimum of two to three years) will be essential and must draw from a stream necessitating a high level of prospect research - i.e. Major Gifts, Corporate or Trusts & Foundations. Ideally, you will have experience across all three and will be familiar with the entire process from identification and through stewardship up to the ask.
