MK Gallery, a leading arts organisation in central Milton Keynes, has a great opportunity for a highly engaged person to join our dedicated team as Development Manager. MK Gallery has a fantastic reputation for delivering positive experiences of the arts in Milton Keynes and beyond through our exhibitions, events, learning programme and community partnerships. This is an exciting time to join the MK Gallery team as we embark upon a major capital expansion which will create a regional arts centre opening in autumn 2017.
Based within MK Gallery's busy communications and development team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver development objectives, covering all areas of fundraising and managing MK Gallery membership schemes. This role will suit a candidate who is able to use their excellent written and verbal communication skills, organisational capacity and ability to pay close attention to detail in order to:
- Research and prepare fundraising approaches
- Develop focussed and accurate funding proposals
- Plan, deliver and support fundraising events
- Monitor fundraising income and manage funders' monitoring requirements
