Job description

As Insight Analyst- Data Strategy you will be working on behalf of the Insight & Analysis Team on the Data Strategy to ensure that new data systems such as a new CRM are fit for purpose for insight, reporting & analysis.

Main Responsibilities

As the Insight Analyst- Data Strategy, you will be working alongside teams across the organisation including the Business Support Team, the Engagement and Fundraising Directorate, IT, Data Strategy Team, and Information Governance Team to deliver a new CRM and Data Hub. You will also be responsible in the leading the Insight & Analysis Team in the rebuilding & testing selections & reports in FastStats & Power BI utilising data and systems developed as part of the Data Strategy. Finally you will be responsible for identifying improvements and providing recommendations on how the new CRM and Data Hub can be utilised to improve the insight , reporting & analysis that the Insight & Analysis Team provide to teams across Diabetes UK.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a proactive individual that can:

  • Confidently and clearly communicate with others ensuring they have clear expectations of what you will deliver, including timeframes
  • Competently using SQL, Power BI, Faststats and statistical techniques to deliver high quality analysis. You will combine technical knowledge with strong communication skills and be committed to delivering an excellent customer experience internally.
  • Build effective working relationships with others, especially when working across teams and directorates
  • Utilise their skills and experience of creating selections, analysis & reports to shape the formation of new systems that will optimise how data is utilised by teams across Diabetes UK.
