Job Background
We are looking for a Head of Fundraising who can work with the service delivery team to link earned income into the Fundraising Strategy, secure both unrestricted and restricted income and through grants, trusts and foundations as well as with corporate partners and individual donors. You will work collaboratively with teams across the charity and won’t be phased by the inevitable challenges that this will bring, or the constantly changing environment that the charity will be operating in the next few years.
In this pivotal role UKHarvest is seeking a strategic Head of Fundraising to lead the charity’s efforts in generating vital financial support and building meaningful relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders. Main Objectives
With responsibility for the Fundraising at UKHarvest, the post holder will:

Required experience
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years fundraising experience as a Head of Fundraising, managing and leading a fundraising team. A strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, set priorities and drive results, you will have experience in developing and sustaining funding streams using a variety of techniques to secure restricted and unrestricted funding, major gifts, grants, events, and corporate partnerships; combined with exceptional communication skills to engage and inspire donors, volunteers and stakeholders. You will be able to motivate and develop a high performing team, set targets, and promote a collaborative culture. You will care about social justice, environmental sustainability and food waste as these pillars underpin all UKHarvest activities. About the team
Part of our Strategy Enablement Directorate, the Data & Insight Team delivers high quality data and database management, administrative services and business insight to the department and other teams across Shelter. About the role
This is an exciting role within our Data and Insight team. Our Insight Analysts play a key role in defending the right to a safe home, working with complex data and turn it into meaningful insight, trend analysis and forecasting while ensuring our data is fit for purpose. You’ll be using reporting and analytic tools such as Google Analytics to present insight in a range of formats and you’ll be responsible for improving our data collection and use of data to understand the impact of our work.
We’ll also rely on you to advise on the development and implementation of processes for data extraction, cleansing, analysis and visualisation to help drive our learning. Working with the insight and Digital Product teams, you’ll improve reporting quality and capacity across Shelter’s digital services products as well as incorporating new data sets where applicable and continually reviewing our data quality, insights and reporting. And you’ll also advise on the direction and use of analytics before and during a project lifecycle to track and advise the project’s successes and areas we can improve on.

About you
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter to join the Data and Insight team as an Insight Analyst, focusing primarily on the digital user experience (UX) and customer satisfaction needs of a specific contract. This is an excellent development opportunity in the growing field of digital analytics. You’ll be a super-user of Google Analytics, and a confident user of Excel, with some experience of business intelligence tools e.g Power BI.
Strong analytic skills are a must, as is the ability to solve problems and prioritise your own workload. You’ll have meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage and develop both immediate and long-term reporting. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and can confidently explain technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels, as well as being a fast learner who can pick up new tools and concepts quickly. What’s more, you’ll be experienced in blending and interrogating multiple sources of data to achieve actionable insight for different audiences, customers and markets.

Age UK Sutton is looking for someone to join the Let’s Connect programme team as a Digital Inclusion outreach worker supporting older people to develop digital skills and improve their access to digital services.
You will champion the service and work in the local community delivering digital awareness talks to groups, delivery of group digital skills sessions and support with recruitment of our Digital Champions Volunteers.
You will work with older people to enable them to become more confident in using digital equipment such as tablets and smartphones through arranging and delivering digital skills training sessions in both group and 121 settings.
