OVERVIEW:
Tom’s Trust provides psychological support for children with brain tumours and their families. Our head office is based in Cambridge but we have a number of staff who work hybrid or fully remote from home.
We already operate services in the North East and North West as well as the East of England but are determined to keep helping more families in more regions and we need someone to help us do that.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Digital Marketing and Communications Officer to join our small, friendly team. With digital marketing experience, the successful candidate will play a key role in attracting and engaging more visitors and donors to Tom’s Trust.
You will be a team player who is comfortable getting stuck in as there will be occasions where you need to get involved in things that may be outside of your direct job role.

As Data Officer, you will provide regular updates to local management and will get involved with a variety of projects across the service. REQUIRED SKILLS

The Role
Community Connections supports people with any mental health or emotional needs to stay well in their communities through social connections and networks. It also helps people return to their communities / transition back / live fulfilled lives and meet their own goals.
Initially, you will be responsible for the development, co-ordination and delivery of the organisations community connections online programme of activities.
However, the role may develop to include the oversight and co-ordination of a joint online programme, in collaboration with all the lead providers.
Key responsibilities include:
- To plan, set up and coordinate groups, courses and activities on the online platform and work with the Team Manager and partner organisations to produce a quality service.
- To work with external agencies, facilitators, and tutors to develop and deliver the online programme of activities.

Overall purpose:
As Fundraising and Campaigns Marketing Manager in the Marketing & Communications team, you will drive Ben’s fundraising and commercial services with individuals and businesses within the automotive industry. Families Out Loud (FOL) is a Wiltshire charity working with families challenged by someone else’s drug and alcohol dependency, supporting them to bravely build a better life. We want to reach every family impacted by drug and alcohol use so they can speak out, free from stigma, and receive the support, care and help they need. Our services include one-to-one, group, family and bereavement support, as well as a specialist teen support service.

About the role
As a Marketing Coordinator working with Families Out Loud, you will be an energetic person who is passionate about brand awareness. You will complete themed projects encompassing both digital outputs and local community relationship building (e.g. launch of a new service – for example our new Teen Support engagement – or promoting upcoming events and driving target audience attendance). Within our values of Listen, Care, Be Practical and Show Determination, the key responsibilities of the role are:
- Plan, create, proofread and edit written and visual content, including the quarterly newsletter, for different audiences and channels
