The DBS and Safeguarding Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the safeguarding advisory team and for managing the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) process for the Guildford Diocesan Board of Finance (GDBF) and Guildford Cathedral (staff and volunteers) and for 161 parishes (staff and volunteers). Our salaries are competitive within the charity sector with a generous non-contributory pension provision.Due to the Covid pandemic, we are currently able to work remotely from the safety of our own homes, but once we are able to return, we have an attractive, open-plan office and surroundings at Church House Guildford (with free parking available).
