Grants and Trusts Officer

The Grants and Trusts Officer is responsible for looking after a large diverse and varied portfolio of grants. This includes a mixture of working closely with our parish communities to shape their vision and develop projects and in helping them to showcase the transformational nature and impact of their projects. The post holder will also work closely with the Director of Communications and Fundraising to support funding and management of grants and the development of major projects in priority areas, giving an opportunity to expand and develop their management skills, work closely with the Catholic Church and its stakeholders and play a part in the real-life impact the funding makes.
You will be joining a busy and forward-thinking Fundraising team. The team are responsible for ensuring charitable funding supports high quality projects, for monitoring and evaluating funded projects, and providing support to a network of employees and volunteers at various levels.
We’re looking for a talented individual who is passionate about supporting transformational change across the local community. You will have grant management experience and be confident operating independently. You will be able to lead and deliver on large projects, with appropriate support, and work closely with important external and internal stakeholders.

Permanent Full time, 35 hours per week.
Based at St Edmund’s House, Bishop Crispian Way, Portsmouth PO1 3HQ
£30,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays and 5 closure days per annum, plus employer’s pension scheme.
