As Office Manager, you will manage the smooth running of the offices, including our two tenanted offices, and support the systems that support our administration. You will be responsible for office equipment, supply contracts and office stationery purchases, as well as our overseeing the facilities and cleaning of the offices.
As receptionist, you will be many people’s first point of contact with the Cathedral and its office tenants on site, and will be expected to project a warm, welcoming and professional image.
You will carry out a range of office management tasks, ranging from ensuring that the offices are kept clean, tidy and supplied, keeping the in-house diary bookings and the calendar of services, events and tours up to date. You will also provide administrative support to the team, maintaining the main Cathedral database and directories, recording staff leave and training, and maintaining the systems for office Covid security.
The Cathedral is planning a refurbishment and programme of decoration of the reception area and offices in 2022 and the post-holder will play an important part in the smooth running and successful delivery of this project.
