We are looking for someone to join our Volunteering Development team to be our Volunteering Team Administrator. Please note, this role is part time, working 14 hours per week.

Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity with a nationwide network of centres, volunteer-run branches and charity shops. During 2018 we helped around 184,000 cats and kittens, an average of 500 per day.

The Volunteering Development team aim to support, advise and coach volunteer and employees on all aspects of volunteer engagement. The team aim is to support great volunteer experiences that make a positive impact on cats.

As the Volunteering Team Administrator, you'll play a key role in the team, contributing to the development of the volunteering strategy, policies, procedures and systems. You'll support the team by providing a first class administrative service, embodying our values and behaviours. You'll provide day to day administration which will include arranging meetings, taking minutes, booking travel, diary management and financial administration. You will work with the Volunteering Best Practice Team Manager: Development in coordinating the resources, communications and administration of all Volunteering Development Team led learning and development activities.

With excellent administrative skills, you'll be able to support a busy team, some of which are based regionally, with great attention to detail. You'll have the proven ability to multi-task, working accurately and to own initiative. You'll be competent in using Microsoft Office programmes as well as being a team player.
