Headway East London is a charity supporting people affected by brain injury. Working across 13 London boroughs we offer specialist support and services for survivors and their family. We offer therapies, advocacy, family support and community support work alongside our day service: a community venue where people can make the most of their abilities and interests.

About the Role
We are looking for a Day Service Co-ordinator to join our art studio team and support people living with brain injury in our day centre in Haggerston.
You will take responsibility for organising and delivering activities in the Submit to Love art studio, such as supporting members in creating new artworks, planning and delivering events and outings, and engaging members in a variety of other activities in response to their needs and interests.
The role also involves providing advocacy and support (key working) for up to 12 members and ensuring the smooth running of the day service as a member of the co-ordinating team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Activities in the art studio:
- Support members to engage creatively and develop their personal artistic practise.
- Work alongside the studio manager, day service members and volunteers to plan and deliver events, including artist led workshops, exhibitions and open studios.
- Plan trips to cultural events and experiences.
Key working:
- Act as key worker for up to 16 members, checking in regularly about their engagement in the centre and their general wellbeing, and supporting them with information, advice, and advocacy as appropriate.
- Establish and maintain contact with members’ families, carers, and relevant statutory partners to facilitate good communication and better provide appropriate support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including comprehensive individual risk assessments.
Day Service co-ordination:
- Work closely with colleagues and volunteers in the day service and other teams at Headway East London to create a welcoming, supportive, and stimulating environment for members.
- Share responsibility for practical tasks in the day service to ensure its smooth running.
- Work sensitively with volunteers, supporting them alongside the volunteer co-ordinator to take on meaningful and rewarding roles in the day service.

The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. We are a large-scale, dynamic, and forward-thinking restoration and hospitality project in the Northwest Highlands with strong philanthropic and community commitments. The heart of our operation is on a remote and beautiful 800-acre island, where we are delivering stunning, sympathetic builds and authentic guest experiences in an area of outstanding scenery.
We run a monitoring programme to capture our social and environmental impact and effectiveness across a range of indicators and are looking for an enthusiastic, creative person to help with this work and become our Impact Coordinator. Our chief areas of charitable engagement include Education, Rural and Community Regeneration, Arts, Culture, Heritage and Science, Environmental Protection and Improvement, and Health and Wellbeing.
The purpose of this role will be the accurate measurement of the effectiveness and social value of the projects we deliver for our owning Charitable Trust. Our Impact Coordinator will work with our internal and external impact team to measure the social value of past, present and future projects, with strategic guidance and support from our leadership team, external advisers, and Trustees.
Storytelling
This role will suit a graduate with degrees, or equivalent experience, in the Social Sciences, Sustainable Development, Management or related fields. This is an opportunity for an ambitious candidate to jump straight into a well-supported role on a big project and produce well-presented, evidence-based stories about the project’s impact using numbers, text, and multimedia for a variety of different audiences.
Data
We gather social value data and KPIs, and have a burgeoning collection of testimonials, feedback, and imagery. We need someone to help build and maintain our qualitative and quantitative data library. This will very much be a “doing” role, involving time spent with spreadsheets and reports, as well as time spent with the team helping them with the same. We are collating the story of the project to date for a key report in Q1 2025.
Community
Our team is diverse, driven, and comes from across the country and further afield. We have our own growing island community of staff and guests, while also being embedded in mainland life in nearby crofting townships and villages. There are opportunities for working with different teams, sailing heritage boats, hosting guests, educating school pupils, and supporting projects on the mainland.
We are looking for a capable, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who will thrive on a challenging project. We anticipate out-of-the-box thinking and self-presentation from the get-go. Training and development will be offered to the right candidate. The salary range for this role will be £25-£35kpa depending on experience. We will be happy to discuss flexible shift patterns and shared accommodation with the right candidate.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with our team of five Programme Managers to support with the day-to-day operations of the programme. The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

The Role
As a Commercial Projects Manager, you will plan, manage, and deliver sustainable commercial projects in support of our strategy and income targets.
Collaborating with colleagues, you will ensure the delivery of successful project outcomes, overseeing projects throughout their lifecycle and undertaking business case development and the implementation of project management disciplines and processes.
You will design and implement project tasks, supporting colleagues acting as experts in their area, and resolving issues to keep projects on track, remaining positive through challenges.
About You
To be considered as a Commercial Projects Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience in successfully project managing high value (£1 million plus) commercial income generating projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Demonstrable experience of delivering commercial business growth, through scoping, analysis, and project management
- Demonstrable experience in leading the development of business cases to aid sound business decisions
- Proven experience of project budget planning and management, with a strong track record in successfully managing financial processes
- A relevant project management qualification (such as APM, Prince2, etc.)

Your first-rate understanding of orchestral repertoire and a range of contexts and markets will enable you to devise compelling programmes and concert formats in response to and driven by themes which connect classical music with the world of today and meet box office targets. As a member of the Exec Team, you will report to the Chief Executive. You will work in close partnership with the Concerts Director and team, and also have close working relationships with other members of the Exec Team, President, Vice President and the Philharmonia Orchestra Artistic Committee.

Key responsibilities
Programming & artistic relationships

Devise and implement the artistic strategy and programme of the Philharmonia Orchestra in close consultation with the Chief Executive, Principal Conductor and Exec Team colleagues

Act as primary liaison to the Principal Conductor and other titled artists, discussing and agreeing programmes and projects
-
Engage guest conductors and soloists for all Philharmonia own-promoted performances and engagements, including fee negotiations
-
Identify and lead opportunities for commissioning and co-commissioning of new works, negotiating commission fees and contracts. Liaison with publishers
-
Negotiate co-promotion deals with external partners such as Serious or Southbank Centre
-
Liaise with conductors and touring partners to develop programmes for foreign touring, while
considering market and budget limitations

Initiate and develop non-standard orchestral projects, such as film with live orchestra, cross-artform or cross-genre collaborations, and performances at non-standard venues

Develop suitable programmes for Philharmonia Residency venues, taking both box office and logistical considerations into account

Handle artist and conductor cancellations and identifying suitable replacements. Liaising internally with other departments over all cancellations

Develop repertoire ideas and ensure timely registration on clash-diary, with support from Concerts Manager

Lead on chamber music programming, including liaison with players over proposals

Research and identify future featured artists, composers and guest conductors proactively
Internal & external communications

Represent the artistic programming function to senior staff, promoters, agents, donors, Board members and volunteers

Collaborate with the Learning and Engagement department to integrate the performance programme with educational projects in the planning stage, including Artist in Residence programme

Collaborate with the Development Department on programmed-led fundraising activities

Be in regular contact with Marketing colleagues as artistic plans consolidate and confirm. Advise on narrative and proof-read key documents

Budgeting, rehearsal & instrumentation planning

Work with the Concerts Director and Managers to create project and season activity budgets, accurately forecasting expenditure and advising on box office targets

Oversee the planning of rehearsals by Concerts Managers, seeking advice from members of the orchestra as necessary

Agree special instruments, and relevant additional fees
Principal liaison with Southbank Centre

Lead on the day-to-day relationship with Southbank Centre, both in terms of strategy and date requests as principal point of contact

Keep SBC colleagues updated on future artistic plans, specifically identifying future projects which may be of interest to Southbank Centre to collaborate on, on a co-promotion or engagement basis
Orchestra liaison
- Lead the Artistic Committee discussions re future plans, and ideas around conductors and soloists • Work with the Concerts Assistants and Data & Insight Manager to issue periodic conductor and soloist survey, using results to inform future programming
- Be in regular contact with key orchestral personnel over suitability of repertoire if rehearsal time is severely limited
Recordings & digital
- Lead on Philharmonia Records, developing and overseeing the recordings strategy
- Identify, and plan potential own-label recording projects
- Listen to recordings to assess suitability for release, and discussing in-house recordings with Artistic Committee
- Work with Immersive Producer on programmatic aspects of digital projects • Identify projects which could be digital first from the outset
