Direct Marketing Executive - Supporter Retention

We are working with a well known international charity who are seeking a Direct Marketing Executive to support the development and delivery of direct marketing activity in order to recruit, retain and develop supporters in accordance with the charity’s direct marketing and supporter development strategy.
For this role, you will be providing support to the Direct Marketing Managers and Senior Executives and managing specific direct marketing projects in order to raise money for the charity while promoting its brand. You will plan and manage specific direct marketing projects as delegated by the Direct Marketing Manager, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget, and properly brief external agencies and internal stakeholders on all elements of owned campaigns. You will brief, evaluate and proof copy/artwork, ensuring that creative is delivered to brief and the highest standard of quality, and research the charity’s work and other essential background information to inform the development of effective fundraising communications. You will also undertake any other relevant duties or projects delegated by the line manager, which are in line with the responsibilities of the post.
We are looking for someone with an understanding of the principles of fundraising and what motivates people to give, and a knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics to recruit, develop and retain customers. You will have experience of delivering marketing campaigns, delivering multiple projects on time and effective project planning and scheduling. You will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, evaluate/proof copy and design, work on your own initiative, and you will be creative with an ability to develop and implement innovative solutions and ideas.
