In this role, you’ll work closely with the Direct Marketing Manager to process donations, provide excellent donor stewardship and help execute our direct marketing appeals.
You’ll also gain broader experience across the fundraising mix and work closely with your Events, Community and Corporate fundraising colleagues.
To succeed in the role you will need to:
…be a strong multi-tasker and a great communicator – a big, and vitally important, part of the role is to manage the processing of all donations, thanking and taking good care of our supporters. You will have a big team of volunteers to help you.
…be competent with major IT office packages – with particular experience of working with Excel, databases (ideally Raisers Edge) and design packages desirable.
…have good and creative writing skills – so that you can input into the conception and creation of our appeals, supporter e-Newsletters and other fundraising materials.
…enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a close-knit team – we have a busy appeals structure and an amazing calendar of fundraising events. Delivering our fundraising activities takes real teamwork and at Peace Hospice Care, we all pull together.
The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) but substantial part-time hours (32 hours or more per week) will be considered.
