Are you passionate about supporting volunteers?
Disability Advice Service Lambeth (dasl) is Lambeth’s leading pan-impairment Disabled People’s Organisation.
We are seeking to appoint a Volunteer Coordinator for three months to organise dasl’s offer for volunteers and peer supporters to connect with Disabled people in Lambeth affected by Covid-19. The Coordinator will recruit and train new volunteers, match them to Disabled people in Lambeth who request support and will provide supervision and monitoring to the volunteers and the placements.
The post will be home-based and is an opportunity for you to develop your experience of coordinating a volunteer-led project, implementing training plans and working with the volunteers to ensure they are confident in providing support on their placements.
The post is for 20 hours a week, ideally over three days per week, however we are happy to consider alternative working patterns as requested by the candidate.
To apply for this role, please provide us with a copy of your CV, and a cover letter (maximum 2-sides A4) demonstrating your skills and experience as outlined in the person specification by Wednesday 10th June.
Depending on the number of applications, we may schedule interviews as they are received, so please do apply as soon as you can.
dasl is an Equal Opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all sections of the community and particularly from Disabled people. Our office at “we are 336”, 336 Brixton Road, London SW9 7AA is fully accessible.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
