We are looking for a friendly, organised individual to join our small team as the Operations Officer. You will help underpin the work of Music as Therapy International, a charity which inspires, guides and champions the use of music to strengthen care around the world.
Working closely with the charity’s existing team, responsibilities will include:Project Administration, External comms, Financial Administration, Fundraising, Governance, and Team Administration.
Our Operations Officer will need to be a positive and pro-active team player, who is systematic in their approach to administration, and gives strong attention to detail. We’re looking for an excellent communicator (in written and spoken English) given the part they will play in our use of External Comms. They will have charitable mindset and a real interest in the impact of our work. Strong numeracy skills are also integral to this role.
It is a broad role with plenty of opportunities for agency, and scope to progress and specialise with experience. It would suit someone keen to immerse themselves in all aspects of working with a small charity, whether at the start of their career or following experience acquired in other sectors.
The role is office-based (at the Oval, SW9) and may be undertaken within a 4 or 5 day/week contract (negotiable).

Whizz Kidz is a leading charity organisation that provides mobility equipment, training and life skills for children and young people with disabilities.
It is an exciting time to join Whizz Kidz, where you will account manage a range of corporate partners. As Corporate Partnerships Manager (Account Management), you will:
- Account manage and build strong relationships with corporate partners at 5- and 6-figre level supporting a team income target of c.£1.25m
- Devise and implement account management and stewardship plans for partnerships to deliver outstanding relationship management and long-term engagement
- Build strong networks within partner companies by successfully engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Identify added value opportunities within partnerships that can benefit the wider organisations aims and objectives

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fundraiser to join a unique charity in Cheshire!
We are looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser to create and grow income opportunities through events and community activities for the Neuromuscular Centre; a charity in Winsford that provides a range of unique, specialist services for people with neuromuscular conditions. The Centre is a warm, vibrant community that exists as the only one of its kind in the UK and Europe. You'll be joining a successful fundraising team that together raises £500,000 per year, and a charity that has been enhancing the quality of life for people affected by neuromuscular conditions for 34 years.
You’ll be maintaining NMC’s existing events calendar, as well as having the autonomy to develop the calendar further and put your own stamp on it. You’ll also be managing our community fundraising income, which includes individual giving, lottery, working with local groups and supporting individuals with their own fundraising activities. You will be developing and building relationships with new and existing supporters to maximise fundraising potential, as well as recruiting and managing volunteers from all walks of life.
We’re looking for someone with previous fundraising experience, with the ambition to take this to new levels. This is a really immersive role, working with the charity's supporters and donors, while at the same time being based where the charity operates. An average week might involve a residential or day activity with our group. It might be meeting members on a 121 to support them with their individual needs or planning the next exciting event for our members to attend.
As you would expect when working for a small charity no two days are the same and we all ‘muck in’ doing things outside of any job description - which will make working at Active8 so varied and enjoyable.
The post holder will not be expected to provide personal care. The successful candidate may be required where appropriate to support young people with tasks such as eating their food, drinking, pushing people in wheelchairs and supporting them on activities.
Job description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated youth worker who has excellent planning skills, is great at communicating with different groups of people and the ability to support our members to lead.
Preferably the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience of leading on successful youth work projects, have experience of 121 and lone working, experience of managing relationships at varying levels, an understanding of disability awareness and working to budgets.
The post holder will be required to manage the day-to-day jobs of the Illumin8 project predominantly working with 18-30 year olds. This will include planning and running events, organising members to get to events including transport and adaptations needed and supporting members with 121 support. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting the rest of the team and other projects we run including Acceler8 and our Advocacy work.

It will be responsible for developing compelling and strategically aligned applications to secure funding through various funding bodies and contribute significantly to the financial team target. The post-holder will also identify and research prospective donors that have the potential to support the organisation’s work, through internal networks and undertaking external research.

The Individual Giving team generates over £12m of unrestricted income from new and existing supporters.
As Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser (Retention), you will:
- Recruit and retain financial supporters for Scope across a range of Individual Giving Products (regular giving, lottery, payroll giving, cash and raffle) using a mix of channels
- Provide a data and insight-led, audience-focused and rewarding supporter journey that maximises lifetime value of the supporter
- Support the Individual Giving Lead with the strategic development and delivery of the supporter retention and development programme
- Manage the relationship with external suppliers, managing the regular reports, conducting quarterly planning sessions, and being the lead contact for day-to-day activity
Ideal skills and experience:
- Direct experience of a range of direct marketing channels including direct mail, email and telefundraisng
- Strong knowledge of regular giving, lottery and cash supporter retention programme strategies
- Experience of success in delivering results as set out in a departmental budget
- Experience of managing external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver successful campaigns
