We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and manage the marketing and communications function and team at Barnwood Trust. This includes Barnwood Trust’s websites, social media channels and print media, as well as responsibility for marketing and logistics planning for public-facing workshops and events.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
The Individual Giving Manager (Retention) will work within the Public Fundraising Team and play a key part in growing and sustaining income from our individual giving audiences of cash donors and regular giving supporters. This role plays a key part in driving income growth and sustainability in our Individual Giving programme.
Your priorities will include:
· Driving the strategic and operational planning of Individual Giving to deliver strong income growth and return of investment (ROI), ensuring agreed targets and KPIs are achieved in relation to retention and conversion of existing donors.

It provides a community transport service for residents of the area who have transportation and/or mobility issues due to age, sickness or disability (mental or physical), poverty, or because of a lack of adequate and safe public transport services. With a fleet of minibuses specially adapted to assist people with mobility equipment or additional mobility needs, People to Places delivers high-quality services aimed at improving social inclusion and accessibility. In addition, we also provide Shopmobility services in Windsor and Maidenhead town centres, this service provides the loan of wheelchairs and mobility scooters to people with limited mobility, to help them shop and access leisure and commercial facilities within the area.
We’ve been fundraising since 1988, but this newly created role allows you to consolidate our past successes, significantly diversifying and enhancing the quality and value of our supporter base.

As Research Communications Lead, you will use your knowledge of the medical research field and science communication experience and expertise to create a suite of research impact communications and stories.
In addition, you will build the base for the charity to confidently talk and communicate the difference that our funded research makes to the lives of people affected by sight loss. These stories should substantiate our position as leaders in funding ground-breaking and world-class research and be used in any instance where we need to demonstrate our research impact, from fundraising materials to our brand marketing.

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who can help guide the RCSLT’s development, analysis and communication of data about the speech and language therapy profession. This is a new role and your expertise, and skills will have an immediate and lasting impact.
Who we are
The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is the professional body for speech and language therapists in the United Kingdom (UK). We support and represent over 22,000 members while operating nationally across our offices in London, Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
Our mission is to improve the lives of people with communication and swallowing needs by facilitating and promoting research, producing guidance, holding events, and influencing government. We aim to promote better education and training for speech and language therapists (SLTs) and provide information to our members and the public about speech and language therapy.
The role
As our new Data Analyst, you will be a key partner for different RCSLT teams working on a wide range of projects, from analysing data about the speech and language therapy workforce, about students and help us understand the impact that SLTs make in their work.
You will help build the data capabilities of the whole organisation using tools that bring data to our members while using critical evaluation to bring depth of understanding about the profession.
We offer flexible working locations, either hybrid working (working a minimum of two days per week from our London Bridge office) or home-based with travel to our London office once or twice per month.

Role Requirements
• Act as a trusted, technical specialist for our business systems, by developing a comprehensive and rigorous knowledge-base of the software architecture, whilst overseeing its maintenance and ensuring the department (and by extension, the organisation) benefits from its full capabilities.
• Ensure that processes are automated (as far as reasonably practicable) and that business systems are fit for purpose, with technical requirements delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensure that technical and procedural processes are in place to guarantee data quality and integrity, by utilising single sources of truth and streamlining database queries.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of both regulatory requirements and daily operational practices, to ensure effective, efficient and compliant business systems.
• Manage and maintain day-to-day management of the business systems and the data held within them, working with the Business System Administrator and the system superusers.
• Act as the primary liaison between business system vendors and The Children’s Trust; regularly liaising to ensure continued development (in order to meet organisational needs) and utilise/attend relevant user groups and forums, to remain up-to-date with system developments.
• Identify, develop and implement any required staff training/coaching, through the delivery of training sessions/workshops and the production of any necessary training manuals/resources, to increase staff’s technical skillset and ensure that they are able to support the required technologies.
• Proactively liaise and communicate with departments across the organisation, to ensure that constructive feedback is received, and information needs are met in a timely manner.
• Develop and review policies and procedures impacted by the implementation of any new system developments.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external venders to ensure the requirements of the business system owners are being met
• Raise issues on behalf of business system owners and users and work with external providers to ensure issues are resolved.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. Our award-winning service supports young carers aged 4-19 to manage their caring relationships while also enjoying their childhoods. The Service provides specialist emotional support through a range of mediums, opportunities for young carers to develop their own peer support systems and a programme of leisure activities offering a break from caring responsibilities.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and working alongside a full time Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will play a vital role in raising funds to support AVUK’s 10-year plan which will transform the life opportunities for deaf children in the UK. With experience of securing five and six figure sums from Trusts and Foundations and grant making bodies, you will identify and secure high-value partnerships taking us closer to our goal of raising just over £2m a year.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, CEO and Senior Management Team, you will develop high-quality, compelling proposals to secure significant funding partnerships that will transform life outcomes for deaf children.
Through exceptional research, bid writing and stewardship you will focus on securing six-figure plus funding partnerships and mange relationships for long term impact.
Research
- Research and identify prospective trusts and foundations and other grant giving bodies
- Grow and maintain a strong trust funding pipeline, creating new trust prospects for our priority funding areas
Fundraising
- Identify and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects and opportunities which have the potential of delivering five and six figure grants.
- Work with colleagues across Auditory Verbal UK to develop and submit high-value and high-quality trust and foundation bids, creating a compelling narrative, budget and outcomes for a range short, medium and long term projects towards our vision
- Develop personalised relationships with Trust and Foundation trustees and trust administrators, maximising every opportunity for cultivation and development

Social Media Manager

Are you passionate about the power of social media? Do you understand what it takes to manage a community and deliver impactful and meaningful content? Are you a creative whizz and someone who wants to take RNID to the next level? Then we want to hear from you.
As Social Media Manager, you will be the social media expert at RNID and be responsible for creating exciting and meaningful content. With the capability of seeing through imaginative paid and organic social media campaigns, you will track success and feedback via reports. You will also champion social media for all RNID staff.
The Social Media Manager in the Marketing and Communications team will focus and lead on:
- Being the go-to person for all paid and organic social media communications and help develop a forward-thinking social media strategy for the organisation.
- Implementing and managing a social media activity schedule for the charity with the discretion to decide what activity is added to the schedule, whilst creating highly engaging content.
- Championing social media best practices day to day to deliver the most effective, integrated campaigns across the UK from a paid and organic perspective.
You will be responsible for:
- Co- ordinating our content calendar, creating and curating inspiring and shareable content that resonates with our target audiences whilst reporting on performance against our KPIs, making recommendations that help us learn and improve.
- Being first point of call for all paid social media campaigns, working closely with our external agency as well as managing smaller campaigns in-house.
- Advising and assisting teams, continually applying learnings from analysis to ensure that all social content is designed to be shareable, to help increase reach, engagement, income.
- Being responsible for social media community management, ensuring timely, engaging and brand-appropriate responses to queries and comments.
- Championing social media for all RNID staff and act as the channel coordinator for our corporate channels and create engaging and shareable content.
- Being responsible for social listening, flagging trends and reputational issues, so that we can be quick to respond appropriately.
- Tracking the success of social media as a channel and feeding back to project groups about what works and what does not.
- Line manage a Social Media Executive and supporting them in their growth as a social media guru.
You will have worked in a social media team at management level before and have a thorough understanding of how each channel operates and how content is best delivered. You’ll keep up to date with social media trends and report to the wider team when necessary. You will come with an air of excitement to engage our audiences through social media to help us reach and support as many people as possible. You should also have a background within social media.
