We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and manage the marketing and communications function and team at Barnwood Trust. This includes Barnwood Trust’s websites, social media channels and print media, as well as responsibility for marketing and logistics planning for public-facing workshops and events.
Expertise in communications, including delivering high standards of accessibility, implementing organisation-wide communications and marketing strategies, and line management experience are welcomed for this role.

We are looking for a friendly, organised individual to join our small team as the Operations Officer. You will help underpin the work of Music as Therapy International, a charity which inspires, guides and champions the use of music to strengthen care around the world.
Working closely with the charity’s existing team, responsibilities will include:Project Administration, External comms, Financial Administration, Fundraising, Governance, and Team Administration.

With a fleet of minibuses specially adapted to assist people with mobility equipment or additional mobility needs, People to Places delivers high-quality services aimed at improving social inclusion and accessibility. In addition, we also provide Shopmobility services in Windsor and Maidenhead town centres, this service provides the loan of wheelchairs and mobility scooters to people with limited mobility, to help them shop and access leisure and commercial facilities within the area.
We’ve been fundraising since 1988, but this newly created role allows you to consolidate our past successes, significantly diversifying and enhancing the quality and value of our supporter base.
As a senior manager in the organisation, this post gives you the opportunity to develop our support for local people who are lonely, isolated and with little or no mobility. Therefore, you will contribute to enhancing the organisation, as well as playing a critical fundraising role.

With excellent organisational and prioritising skills, risk management and decision making, ideally you will have team leadership experience including volunteer management or delivering fundraising through the use of volunteers. Role Requirements
• Act as a trusted, technical specialist for our business systems, by developing a comprehensive and rigorous knowledge-base of the software architecture, whilst overseeing its maintenance and ensuring the department (and by extension, the organisation) benefits from its full capabilities.
• Ensure that processes are automated (as far as reasonably practicable) and that business systems are fit for purpose, with technical requirements delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensure that technical and procedural processes are in place to guarantee data quality and integrity, by utilising single sources of truth and streamlining database queries.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of both regulatory requirements and daily operational practices, to ensure effective, efficient and compliant business systems.
• Manage and maintain day-to-day management of the business systems and the data held within them, working with the Business System Administrator and the system superusers.
• Act as the primary liaison between business system vendors and The Children’s Trust; regularly liaising to ensure continued development (in order to meet organisational needs) and utilise/attend relevant user groups and forums, to remain up-to-date with system developments.
• Identify, develop and implement any required staff training/coaching, through the delivery of training sessions/workshops and the production of any necessary training manuals/resources, to increase staff’s technical skillset and ensure that they are able to support the required technologies.
• Proactively liaise and communicate with departments across the organisation, to ensure that constructive feedback is received, and information needs are met in a timely manner.
• Develop and review policies and procedures impacted by the implementation of any new system developments.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external venders to ensure the requirements of the business system owners are being met
• Raise issues on behalf of business system owners and users and work with external providers to ensure issues are resolved.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

About you
You will have previous administration experience and strong IT knowledge, including experience of using Microsoft Office with the ability to produce reports and presentations within Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Though the role is a hybrid role it would be beneficial if you had experience of working within an office environment.

About the role
As a Business Support Officer, you will support individual areas and provide positive and timely business support for the Care and Support function to meet their delivery of organisation business processes. This will include finance, data gathering, employee engagement/support (on-board/off-board) as well as mobile phone device management and registered area office management.

Role Requirements
STL1 – Provide support for Learning Activities set by Classteacher & Senior Specialist Teaching Assistant
- To support learning activities for individual, groups or whole classes of pupils, leading activities under the direction of the teacher or Senior Teaching Assistant supporting the teacher in their delivery of lessons.
- To demonstrate our School Ethos and Pupil Charter throughout the School day.
- Holistically integrate education, health and care needs.
- Evaluate and record procedures for learning activities.

Self-advocacy enables people with learning disabilities and autistic people to share their experiences and insights with the aim of creating positive change for them and their wider community.
Other duties include:
· Community Empowerment: You will organise self-advocacy groups for people with learning disabilities and autism.
· Event and Conference Organisation: You will collaborate with the Self Advocacy Engagement Lead to arrange and facilitate events and conferences.
· Partnership and Support: You will support individuals to have their voices heard at the Learning Disability Partnership Board and Focus groups.
· Coproduction: You will support people to take part in coproduction meetings.
About you:
You will possess strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent communication abilities that can be easily adapted, the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The capability to think critically while also being receptive to instructions. Be tolerant and accepting attitude towards diversity, as well as a creative and organised approach to tasks. You will need to hold a Full Driver’s licence.
On offer is a salary of £13.48 per hour. This is a full-time post with hybrid working on offer enabling you to work between our office in Stowmarket and home. We offer a Healthcare cash back benefit scheme.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, approachable and creative Major Gifts Officer to join a team of expert high value fundraisers. You'll be an excellent relationship builder, a strong communicator and will understand major donor fundraising and methods of cultivating and stewarding gifts of £1k and above.
The Major Gifts Team builds relationships with donors, creating long-term partnerships driving change for people with sight loss. We work with supporters who enable RNIB's programmes for blind and partially sighted people through their philanthropy.
What you'll be doing -
You'll identify new donors and build relationships with existing supporters to secure philanthropic gifts for RNIB's vital work. You'll manage your own portfolio of donors, refreshing and growing The Armitage Circle (our mid-value giving programme) with creative engagement ideas, developing income from existing supporters and reaching out to new prospects.
Your role will include developing creative cultivation plans and conducting telephone, email and face to face conversations with donors. You'll be involved in the planning and delivery of events and will be responsible for some reporting and administration tasks.

In this post you'll connect with staff working across the organisation, from roles in services and marketing and communications to relationship development, trust and foundations, legacies and individual giving fundraising. You'll relish the chance of significantly increasing levels of donor engagement and be keen to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers across RNIB.
This role can be worked on a hybrid basis with the expectation to work from RNIB's London office at least one day a week and attend meetings and events in person when required.
