The Charity is looking for three self-motivated individuals to join our busy Fundraising Department.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing Charity, make a difference to people’s lives and develop a career in fundraising.

The roles will support different fundraising teams within the Charity, involving administration across a wide range of functions and activities.

The post holders will respond to fundraising queries by telephone, social media, post and email, ensuring timely and appropriate responses and will also process donations accordingly.  Part of the role will involve encouraging participation in events and fundraising activities, cultivating relationships and spotting opportunities for the charity. These are three fantastic roles requiring well organized, highly numerate and articulate individuals.  It is essential that the successful candidates actively embrace change, as these are new roles within the Charity and will evolve with the inception of the Charity’s new IT database software.

The roles will involve working with local clients (with their assistance dogs), volunteers, supporter groups, community groups and a wide range of donors and individual fundraisers.  Contributing to charity events and activities will also be an important part of the roles.

Experience in undertaking a range of administrative functions would be essential, as well as a high level of competency in MS Office packages.  We are looking for applicants with excellent organisational skills with a methodical and accurate approach, combined with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.  An ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate a high level of initiative is also essential.

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who have a real eye for detail and can inspire people to raise funds for the Charity.

A full UK driving licence is required, as is an ability to work very occasional evenings and weekends.

Please note we are not able to employ anyone under 18 years of age.

If you are interested in applying for this role, please visit the 'Current Vacancies' page of our website where you can download a Fundraising Administrator Application Form and an Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form.  You will also be able to download a copy of the Fundraising Administrator job description.

Closing date for applications is noon on Friday 20 March 2020.

Interviews (including a practical test) will take place on Wednesday 1 April 2020 at our head office in Banbury.  This date cannot be changed so please ensure you are available for interview.
