Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK with a nationwide network of rehoming centres and charity shops. Last year, Dogs Trust centres cared for over 15,000 dogs; we never put a healthy dog down.
Our contact centre is responsible for handling inbound & outbound calls and emails for our network of 21 Rehoming Centres around the UK & Ireland. There are no sales involved, just great customer service.
As Contact Centre Agent you will act as the first point of contact for our rehoming centres, effectively dealing with inbound & outbound calls and emails, and transferring them to a Rehoming Centre, if appropriate. You’ll also be required to handle enquiries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner to agreed standards whilst undertaking administrative duties as necessary.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a relevant environment, e.g. Contact Centre or Customer Services with a proven track record of understanding customers’ needs and delivering excellent customer service. You'll be a strong team player, have a professional approach and telephone manner teamed with the ability to work under pressure. In addition, you'll be passionate about the aims and values of Dogs Trust and be able to commit to a rotational working pattern.
