We are seeking a passionate, skilled individual with a strong commitment to animal welfare to join our Head Office Education Team.
Dogs Trust Education Team have been carrying out workshops in schools and in the community since 2003. Educating today’s children about safe, kind, and fair behaviour around dogs, as well as the complex and varied needs that dogs have, is the underpinning focus of the extensive work we undertake. By helping young people learn about the responsibilities and commitment involved in dog ownership, we believe that we can reduce the number of dogs that are mistreated, relinquished, abandoned, or destroyed.
The Education Assistant provides support by focussing on social marketing, project work and administrative activities. The Assistant will also support the Education Insights Officer with inputting data for our monitoring and evaluation activities. This role will provide customer support to internal and external stakeholders, and aide the continuous improvement of processes for ensuring accurate reporting and admin functions to the Education department.
The successful candidate will have experience of utilising social media channels to market/promote a business type, extensive administrative experience with excellent attention to detail. The candidate will have experience working as part of a large team and confidence managing own priorities, project management skills, and an understanding of the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust.
