Are you passionate about technology? Do you want to play a key role in helping us meet future challenges?
Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK with a nationwide network of rehoming centres and charity shops. Last year, Dogs Trust centres cared for over 14,000 dogs; we never put a healthy dog down.
The IT department is at the beginning of a multi-year digital transformation programme, consolidating, replacing, and implementing new systems to ensure we can deliver on our ambitious objectives, and keep supporting Dogs in the future.
As an Enterprise Architect you will be at the forefront of the programme playing a pivotal role in building the charity’s technology strategy, processes, and information technology roadmap. Working closely with colleagues and external partners you will ensure that technical solutions meet our business needs and empower our people and teams to deliver on our mission and vision. Business partnering with senior stakeholders, you will champion innovation and challenge conventional wisdom to drive digital transformation forward.
This is a hands on role, setting the enterprise architecture, but also playing the solutions architect for our core systems. The role will ideally be suited to a strong solutions architect with several years of experience in a data driven CRM environment, ideally utilising Salesforce who is looking to step up into an Enterprise Architecture role but still has the desire to get down into the details when required. As well as Salesforce, Dogs Trust will be implementing Informatica, SnowFlake and Tableau as their future data platform so experience in any of these technologies will also be advantageous.
TOGAF certified, you will possess a degree or equivalent qualification in a computer science discipline. With significant experience in integrating complex infrastructure solutions you will have strong experience in business processes and performance modelling, benchmarking, and financial analysis.
So, if you are looking to channel your passion for architecture whilst making a difference to our mission, we would love to hear from you.
The role will be remote initially as we continue to be home based under COVID-19. However, the candidate should be able to commute into our London office in the long term. There is also occasional travel to our rehoming centres across the country in the long term.
