Are you an experienced administrator who wants to support a project helping both people and their pets?
Outreach Projects consists of several projects which aim to provide advice and support for pet owners who are homeless or in housing crisis in the UK; this includes the Freedom Project, a pet fostering service for people fleeing domestic abuse. The majority of our referrals come from women fleeing domestic abuse via women-only services. The service places dogs into volunteer foster homes on a temporary basis until their owners are able to have them back. The Freedom Project now runs in Greater London & the Home Counties, Yorkshire, the North East and the North West of England, and Scotland.
The Freedom Project Administrator, provides administrative support to the Freedom Project, split between providing support directly to the Greater London & the Home Counties team, and the other regions – Yorkshire, the North East, the North West and Scotland.
This focusses on customer service to a variety of stakeholders (mainly over the phone and by email), including clients accessing the project, referral & domestic abuse organisations, volunteers, members of the public, veterinary surgeries and internal contacts. The role also involves record keeping and invoice processing for the whole team.
