Job Description

Do you love dogs? Are you an experienced major donor fundraiser?

Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity. We care for around 15,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through our network of 21 rehoming centres across the UK and Ireland.

Dogs Trust is seeking a Philanthropy Officer with a solid track record of reaching financial targets, working with high net worth individuals to secure new members of the Friends Club. In this role you'll personally lead the development and growth of the Friends Club, cultivating and stewarding existing and new members, working alongside an existing Philanthropy Officer and an Assistant and reporting to the Philanthropy Team Manager.

You will build relationships with prospects already identified by Dogs Trust through research, events and cultivation as well as identifying new prospects to build a pipeline and make appropriate methods of approach for Dogs Trust's Friends Club. You will be comfortable in making the ask and ensure all members receive the highest standards of donor care.
